The centre is dedicated to informing, inspiring and educating children about sustainability and the natural world through daily life at camp and a packed programme of adventurous, challenging and exploratory activities.
Camp Kernow engages with children in schools across Cornwall and beyond, inspiring and educating the next generation about sustainability and reconnecting them with the natural world through hands-on experiences in the classroom, in the woods and at our off-grid centre.

Our eco-explore programme fosters environmental citizenship by providing opportunities for positive engagement with nature. Led by level 3 Forest School practitioners, sessions empower children to gain a better understanding of the natural world through play, creativity and the learning of woodland skills. Find out more
workshops
The Future Roots outreach programme brings sustainability education to life in schools with hands-on workshops, enabling children to learn more about renewable energy and the environment in a fun and engaging way. Workshops are curriculum linked and enable children to experiment with and test technologies including wind, hydro, solar and wave energy. Find out more
